Neighbors learn of a 12/23 Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) hearing scheduled for a Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) project planned at 1003-1011 S 20th Street, for an application that was filed with ZBA by PHA on 10/29/09.

The South of South Neighborhood Association (SOSNA) confirms the 12/23 ZBA hearing date.
The SOSNA Zoning Committee subsequently reaches out to PHA to ask that they come to the local SOSNA Zoning Committee Meeting on 12/16 to present the project for community input. SOSNA Zoning requests that PHA provide the appropriate documentation as soon as possible. This is a special exception in terms of the usual lead time required, for adequate advance review time by the Committee, and fullfilling the need to flyer, but all possile accommodation was made by SOSNA to facilitate.
